Blake’s practice consists primarily of business litigation. Coming from an insurance defense background, Blake is familiar with a wide range of different types of complex litigation. Blake brings this versatile experience to Emerge’s litigation group, which helps him assist clients in navigating the unique challenges of cannabis business litigation.

Blake is a graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School. While in law school, Blake was involved in the Small Business Legal Clinic and was an associate editor on the Lewis & Clark Law Review. While earning his law degree, Blake worked at a plaintiff’s side personal injury firm, where he further developed his litigation experience. Blake also was a judicial intern for the Honorable Senior Judge Anna J. Brown in the United States District Court of Oregon.

Outside of the Office

Blake grew up on the Oregon coast, and has worked in Portland since graduating law school. Prior to attending law school, Blake managed a dispensary and started his own business in the Oregon cannabis industry. In his free time, Blake enjoys mountain biking and playing music.
